“Restatements: A downward revision of our historic GHG emissions for 2020 and 2021 has been made. The restatements are due to an error from the use of incorrect gas compositions in the calculations which led to an overestimation of GHG emissions. To address this a detailed review of the computation methodology was carried out. In addition, Seplat transitioned to a new GHG emissions accounting system (noobyia) to ensure robustness and compliance with industry standards.”
